Saturday, July 8th, 1876

The next morning the posse discover that Silent Elk has killed several rabbits for breakfast.  Straw uses his "Dr. Helstrome's Instant Sausage Kit" to prepare rabbit sausage for breakfast.  After everyone has eaten the posse breaks camp and head into the mountains. 

The posse travel all day and camp that night in a glacial valley.  The night passes relatively quietly.  Tara is a little disturbed by the constant howling of the coyotes that are in the area.  Suddenly, the howl is cut off in mid sentence.  Tara then finds the quiet disturbing.  The night grows cooler.
