Kansas sets of bright and early and starts attacking the mountain of paperwork. Sitting down with a set of stamps and ink Kansas starts to carefully review and stamp each document. Kansas was carefully to use each stamp equally, to prevent the stamps from becoming jealous of one another. The easiest way to do this was to use each stamp sequentially. Kansas had his work cut out for him.
Shima listened to the rhythmic sounds of someone completing paperwork. He was working on creating spears out of a set of broomsticks he had purchased earlier that morning from M.E.I. Shima timed the strokes of his knife to the beat of the stamp from the office. Shima was confident he would have his spears done in no time.
The morning passed with everyone working on their own projects. As afternoon approached Kansas took a break for lunch. He looked around the office appreciatively, papers filed in cabinets (who could have read those old faded labels anyway) and all that was left of the paperwork was a small pile of wanted and missing reports. Kansas stepped out of the office and went over to Elizabeths' for lunch.
Kansas returned from a pleasant steak to discover that more paperwork spontaneously appeared in his office. Kansas sighed, sat down and got to work.
Shima spends the afternoon collecting a posse from people on the street. It turns out that there are a lot of people in Denver who have lost someone to bandits on the plains. Shima assembles a group of 20 people and outfits them with weapons recovered from previous attacks on the gang. Shima then sets about training the posse to work as a team.
