Saturday, July 15th, 1876

The posse wake up to find Screaming Deer preparing breakfast with Lizzy.  Reg, who had the last shift for watch, is sound asleep leaning against his saddlebags.

The posse eat, wake Reg and break camp.  The morning passes rather quietly.  Shortly after noon the posse catch sight of something on the horizon.  As it draws closer, the shape of a strange vehicle becomes apparent.  It's shaped like a giant cereal bowl that had been turned upside down and mounted onto four steel bound wagon wheels.  Out the top of the vehicle was a smoke stack trailing the tell tale vapors of ghost rock.  The vehicle also sported a gatling gun out the front.  The vehicle turned towards the posse.  Shima immediately pulls his sword and rushes the tank.  Kansas provides some cover fire but it bounces off the armored hide of the tank.  The gatling gun returns fire to Shima but the bullets mysteriously slow down before striking Shima.

Kansas opts for a precision attack against the view ports of the tank while Shima bravely hacks at the wheels with his sword.  Lizzy, Kansas, Shima and the tank trade blows for several minutes.  Eventually the tank limps off for repairs.  Lizzy helps Shima brush the tire tracks off his clothing.  The posse search around for Screaming Deer and Reg.  They find Reg on the ground with Screaming Deer wrestling away his watch and ruining Reg's new duds.

The posse split up the two and start limping back towards the train tracks.  Evening falls and the group spends the night under the clear Colorado sky.
